Marketing Skills, for copy that sounds like a person

Radiant Digital · ~1 min read

The copywriting and editing rules behind the words on our services page. Written by Corey Haines, free and open source. What each skill does and how to install the library.

What it is

A library of about fifty marketing skills, from copywriting to pricing to SEO, each one a Markdown file of hard-won rules. We reached for a handful of them to write the services page, mostly to keep the copy plain: benefits over features, specific over vague, no buzzwords, no exclamation marks, and no numbers we cannot prove.

Author: Corey Haines, founder of Conversion Factory and Swipe Files. MIT licensed.

NOTE

The skills will not invent proof for you, and neither should you. If a claim needs a number and you do not have one, the right edit is to cut the claim.
